Effective Job Hazard and Risk Analysis Training Course

Job hazard analysis (JHA) is a workplace assessment method used to identify and control unacceptable risks relating to the performance of job tasks. As a result of the introduction of Part 19 of the Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, performance of JHA has become commonplace in organizations regulated under the Canada Labour Code, Part II. However, methods for JHA are not specified by these Regulations, or for that matter, by the Canadian occupational health and safety laws in any provinces or territories. While JHA may appear to be a “straightforward” exercise, it is not - particularly in projects involving JHAs for several hundred occupations.
